2026 Annual Summer Show to be held at the Beechwood Equestrian Centre, Main Road, Rettendon Common, Chelmsford, Essex. CM3 8DY  Sunday, 9th August gates open to the public 8.00 am

Always held in August, the Essex Shire Horse Association's heavy horse show is a day out not to be missed.  ​Relocated in 2021 to the Beechwood Equestrian Centre in Rettendon, the show includes arena displays:​

Throughout the show ground there are refreshments, stalls and display areas where you can see heavy horses being shod or braided for the show ring.​​
